i seldom join badminton tournaments. although i am a self-confessed badminton addict, i am not very keen on tournaments. (kasi naman mahal ng tournament fees! ; ( they usualy cost 700 and up) but to have some competitive spirit in the game, i usually join dual meets with other companies or in-house tournaments.

last may 5, i joined the mixed doubles tournament of the adb badminton club. i have a constant mixed doubles partner edwin. we have played together during past dual meets and in house tournaments. we know each other's game, and if i may say, we have a good rapport in the court. we usually play side by side, because i am not comfortable in a front-back game(especially when i am in the front! though i am trying to practice more to be in the front now).

edwin and i are usually leveled "B" during tournaments. this time however, we were leveled "A". Does that mean we improved as a pair? or that there was misleveling? hehehe! whatever, i just feel good that once in my badminton addiction, i was leveled A. ;-) and below is a certificate to prove! hahaha!
